Course Description: Learn how to use the various hand and power tools used by carpenters and how modern building materials and practices are utilized. This course will develop proficiency leading to employment in the carpentry trades fields. 
 
Completion/Certificate: This is a community education course where you will receive a certificate from the instructor at the end of the 13-week course. Upon completion, students can explore opportunities in joining a carpenter’s union or a trade school to further experience in the field.
