Course Description: The course combines instruction with hands-on practice, guiding students through real construction tasks over 12 weeks, ending with a final project and career exploration.
Participants learn essential skills such as:
- Basic construction math and measurements
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Building principles, including subfloors, walls, and roofs
- Installing doors and windows
Overall progression: Students move from foundational knowledge → tool skills → full structural building (floors, walls, roof) → finishing elements and career readiness.
Completion/Certificate: This is a community education course where you will receive a certificate from the instructor at the end of the course.
