Course Description: This course is designed for homeowners and weekend warriors as well as an introductory course for pre-apprentice field exploration. This could also lead to self-employment doing residential work. 
 
Completion/Certificate: This is a community education course where you will receive a certificate from the instructor at the end of the 13-week course. Individuals can use this course as a foundation while exploring further educational opportunities if they choose. Some opportunities would be an apprenticeship, entering post-secondary education in the building trade and/or entry level work with a local company.
