Course Description: This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly course designed to teach practical home improvement and maintenance skills for personal projects or entry-level trade work.
 
Participants learn:
Job site safety practices and proper tool use
Measuring techniques, along with hand and power tools
Foundational skills in electrical wiring and plumbing
Basic framing, including doors and windows
Drywall installation and finishing (cutting, hanging, taping)
Ceramic tiling for projects like backsplashes
 
Completion/Certificate: This is a community education course where you will receive a certificate from the instructor at the end of the course.
