Course Description: This course covers the basic residential wiring installation techniques, tools, electrical boxes, cables, switches and receptacles. Students will use materials and tools to set up and test typical circuits and apply theory and provisions of the National Electrical Code.
Completion/Certificate: This is a community education course where you will receive a certificate from the instructor at the end of the course. Upon completion, students can explore opportunities in joining an electrical union, a trade school to further experience in the field, an apprenticeship program and/or find entry level employment from a local company.
